End of Season 1 of FloatyRocks.fm (check out our website for all episodes, transcriptions, social media links and more)
Join Alex Volkov, Daniel Rosenblat and Seo Sanghyeon we we recap the counter evidence, what else to look forward to in LK99 and why we all still can be positively minded and excited despite the current evidence to the contrary.
We discussed the following things:
- CAS paper showing that phase transition for Cu2S (Copper(I) sulfide) at 400K
- @SchoopLab breakdown of the structure of LK99
- Videos on the internet not being convincing anymore
- Andrew's Varda sample had Iron impurities detected by USC
- Awana VPS concluded their piece is not superconducting (supposedly emailed w/ team)
- What we had is an incredibly global, open and most of all fast and public peer review for this new material
- Nothing of the above is a definitive NO, but the evidence to counter the claims has stacked up, and QCentre has a lot to answer to and clear things up
- There's no physical limit to RTSC so we're waiting
Also, join our twitter community for additional updates (1.1K members in less than a week!)
