May Buendia Palabrica is a mom of 3 based in the Philippines with 15 years of experience in human resources. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Vice President of HR Relationship Management at Citibank. May’s career journey is unique, taking an unconventional path that included stepping away from her corporate career after 8 years to pursue her passion for entrepreneurship. She successfully runs her own kids' gown business, even designing for high-profile clients in the Philippines. However, the pandemic posed a challenge for her business, prompting her return to the corporate world in 2020. Today, May is also a coach for moms who are re-entering the workforce, helping them navigate career transitions while balancing family responsibilities. In 2023, she was recognized as one of the top 20 Filipinos on LinkedIn for her impactful content and professional contributions.
