In today's episode we read and discuss Psalm 91. Often referred to as the "Psalm of Protection."
The very first verse sets the tone, promising rest in the shadow of the Almighty WHEN we dwell in the shelter of the Most High. This chapter reminds us that it is ONLY in his presence that we will find our peace and rest.
It is so easy to get lost in a million other things and then we find ourselves stumbling in the darkness overwhelmed and overcome. But this Psalm reminds us again that He alone is our safe refuge and our light in the darkness. And that His peace and His rest is the only thing that can sustain our hearts in the midst of the ongoing heaviness and weariness we are all experiencing.
