Inflammation is a natural response of the immune system.  

There are two types of inflammation: acute and chronic. Acute inflammation is a short-term response to injury or infection and is usually resolved within a few days to weeks. Chronic inflammation is a long-term response that can last for months or years and has been linked to a range of health problems.   

There is much we can do to support our body to heal inflammation, like eating healing food, making healthy lifestyle choices and supplementing with anti-inflammatory supplements.
