Red One Explained - Spoiler Breakdown. Dwayne "The Coal" Johnson teams up with Chris Evans in an action-packed Christmas film, called Red One. Santa Claus is kidnapped, forcing Callum Drift (Dwayne Johnson) to team up with an unlikely ally. This premise is fun but unfortunately the movie is played far too seriously and the action is at times very hard to see. A big budget Christmas movie could work but it didn't here.
