Jones, who is no stranger to controversy, is currently serving his 5th term as Sheriff of Butler County, Ohio. Known as “Jonesy” to his friends, he career began with the Ohio prison system after he volunteered for the military draft where he served from 1973 to 1975 as a combat engineer. Sheriff Jones holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Corrections.
