Courtney Burgess, a potential key witness in the federal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs, is currently entangled in a legal battle with the rapper’s sons. Combs’ family is trying to stop the sale of a memoir based on a manuscript purportedly given to Burgess by Combs’ ex Kim Porter. Burgess says he owns the rights to that manuscript. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber got clarification from Burgess’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell.
