We Write The Songs came about by accident quite honestly. It was conceived at the same time your host, Drew Montgomery, was trying to get himself some shows with other songwriters. After booking the first show, that was simply titled We Write The Songs, an idea sparked and an avalanche of ideas started to take shape. The podcast was a big idea that seemed overwhelming and intimidating to say the least, but never-the-less, here we are. It's not a how to session, but more of a personal conversation with some amazing and talented songwriters, musicians and anyone involved in the process of creating music. Let the journey begin.
