In my early 20's I found myself completely lost stacking shelves during the nightshift at my local supermarket, with no real direction in life or purpose. There was one thing that kept me going, kept me ambitious, kept me curious - storytelling. I had always loved talking to people, regardless of how well I knew them, I was always intriuged by their stories & backgrounds. I always wanted to learn from their insights and wisdom from previous life experiences, to try and escape my miserable reality at the time and to try and mimic what worked for them in my pursuits.
Through said conversations, I found myself surrounded by mentors and people that genuinely wanted to see me succeed and do well in life. Fast forward a few years, I have commentated on poker to millions of people, for some of the most prestigous events on a global scale. Now in my late 20's I have one goal - I want to share these conversations with you in the hopes that you find some inspiration, direction and value in them the same way I did.
