Nikita Johnson on the moments that made his Indy NXT title charge

This week on the Feeder Series podcast, we are joined by 2026 Indy NXT champion Nikita Johnson. This week’s episode was filmed just hours after he was crowned the winner of IndyCar's primary feeder series at Laguna Seca last month. Johnson joins Feeder Series' head of content Michael McClure and reflects on his 2026 campaign that helped him cement his legacy as Indy NXT's youngest-ever champion.

They discuss:

• Johnson's growth as a driver throughout the 2026 campaign

• The highs and lows of fighting for the championship

• Finding immediate success with the newly independent
• What characteristics he most wants IndyCar teams to see in his driving
• How Johnson unwinds when he's not in the car
