Discarded Self is a solo Canadian blackened sludge/doom band based in Lloydminster, Alberta. Jarret “FuzzGöd” Beach is the mastermind behind Discarded Self, as well as a member of Ashes of Yggdrasil and Destroy my Brains. Today, Jarret joins me to chat about his approach to sludge/doom, some musical techniques and personal experiences, as well as some of his non-musical influences.
