At three years old, Jon fell into a pool and nearly drowned. As his body struggled, he felt his soul leave and floated above the scene, watching his parents try to save him. The sky dissolved into darkness, revealing white lights and two beings: a large, loving figure adorned with a jeweled crown and a smaller companion. The beings communicated telepathically, explaining he had to return to his body. Despite Jon’s protests, they guided him back. He re-entered his body with a "click" as his father resuscitated him.
