One rainy night after a festival, Bobby and his friend spotted a hot pink parachute left in a park. As water skiers wanting a parachute for para-skiing, they decided to take it. Bobby climbed a tall tree to cut it down but fell 25–30 feet. During the fall, Bobby experienced what he believes was a near-death experience, finding himself in a peaceful, divine light free from physical burdens. Meanwhile, his panicked friend revived him by pounding on his chest, bringing him back to life. Later diagnosed with a concussion, Bobby couldn’t recall the fall but discovered similar near-death experiences in books, leaving him convinced he may have briefly died.
