Jerusalem and Zion: What’s the Difference

This week, Israel and Jews and Christians throughout the nations celebrate Jerusalem Day, the anniversary of the miraculous reunification of Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty in 1967. What’s the historic and prophetic significance of this?  Why do we celebrate? What’s the role for the Nations of the world in realizing the destiny of Zion for the future together?
