From the Pillbox to the Dugout

In the midst of the war, there is trauma indeed, but there’s also the mundane as life attempts to be as normal as possible even though it’s changed forever. David Weiss experienced both sides of the spectrum from being called into reserves on October 7, and then coaching his kids’ little league baseball team, and even bringing the Israeli team to international competition. How does one cope with the balance of these and why is it important? What are Israel’s aspirations for a little league team in the future? How can we maintain normalcy for kids amid the war that’s got no end in sight?
