Welcome to the first episode of my podcast with the amazing saxophonist & composer Nubya Garcia! In this episode we discuss touring, the trials & tribulations of being a female solo artist & the power of activist music. We also touch on BLM and the 2020 May/June protests, it is to be noted that this episode was recorded a short time after these protests & our comments reflect our understanding of the situation at that time which as the fight for civil rights continue, is constantly evolving.
