On the journey to a life-long commitment or marriage, relationships go through four “seasons” or phases. And within each “season,” there are particular issues that need to be navigated with skill and wisdom if a relationship is going to last.

In this episode, Roy addresses the fourth and final “season,” which is, Construction. Once you’ve gotten yourself “in shape” for something real (the preparation season), and once you’ve met someone with whom you feel healthy chemistry (the attraction season), and once you’ve established that you’re compatible (the exploration season), you can begin constructing the foundation for a lasting relationship.

How do you handle drama? Does it drive you apart or bring you closer together? As you reveal your financial, medical, and sexual histories (as you do in this “season”), does that create fear or trust? And, finally, how do you view your partner’s personality differences? Will you learn from them or try to change them?

Tune into this episode for answers to these questions and everything else associated with the construction “season” of relationships.
