Start with a simple meditation or a neuroplasticity course. We’ll meet you wherever you are comfortable”, says Lisa.
In this episode of Shift with CJ, my guest is the founder of the Neurosculpting Institute and author of New Beliefs, New Brain, Lisa Wemberger. A member of the National Center for Crisis Management and other care associations, she has a private practice in Denver, CO, specializing in helping clients with stress disorders.Lisa Wimberger experienced the power of neuroplasticity first-hand. When conventional medicine offered no answers for her deadly seizures, she created her own regimen of meditation and life practices to heal herself. Today, Lisa has successfully taught her Neurosculpting method to veterans, first responders, and clients in the most stressful occupations.Neurosculpting IS the form of meditation she had to create to help her target an unknown trigger for this condition and rehearse a new script so she could circumvent another episode. It is the culmination of over thirty years of Lisa’s meditation practice, honed by what neuroscience currently knows about brain maps. Today, I have him on the show to learn amazing facts about our brain and Neurosculpting.

Vacation and Regular Days-17:10
“Why are we not happy in our regular lives? Why can’t every day feel like we are on vacation? “I asked Lisa.
“I think we forget that it is just a frame of mind, so everything in life is like a lens, and imagine that today, you have your glasses, and lens of those glasses are your everyday lenses. You are going to experience life in many automated ways. Everyday expectations like food, work, social events, and a lot of those things that happen like the way they happened before, and they are your everyday lens, but all of a sudden, someone gives you a new pair of glasses. These will be your vacation glasses, and the lenses in those say ‘you are allowed 12 days off your to-do list’ and are allowed to have different kinds of fun that you do not do on regular days. In reality, nothing has changed but your frame of mind”, replied Lisa.
Addiction of Stress- 40:50
“Do you think people have started to get addicted to stress and its remedies?” I asked her
“Yes, I do feel that. Stress is the most life-affirming experience we have. It is the basis of living; everybody has a stress response to calm them down. It is a motivation to protect yourself and make your life valuable. It also comes with a buzz of energy that makes us feel alive. Our brain then keeps us reminding in a stressful situation that there is a thing, which can make our lives a bit easier and make us feel more energetic and optimistic. The brain wants you to be efficient, and so the more you involve yourself in stress, the more automated messages are generated by the brain to make your life easier, which results in addiction”, replied Lisa.
Find out about more intriguing things. “Our trademarked process of meditation involves five easy steps to relax the body while focusing the mind for stress regulation, pattern rewiring, and performance optimization,” says Lisa.
