As the race season kicks off in India, each and every runner out there is racking up the miles and aiming to secure those coveted medals. But in the midst of earning those medals, are runners today running a bit too much? Is there a cap on how much a person should run? Is there such a thing as “too much running”?
In this solo episode of Run with Fitpage, host Vikas Singh speaks about how training too much and too hard can be detrimental to progress and does a lot more harm than good. Vikas also goes on to highlight how a runner, depending on their current fitness levels and future running goals, can add in the miles to their plans in a systematic manner, mitigating injuries and ensuring enough time for recovery to bring the best out on race day.
