Burrow threw for 356 yards and three touchdowns, and receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins combined for 16 catches for 223 yards and three touchdowns, wasting another chance to work towards making the playoffs.
Burrow, who is leading the NFL with 3,028 passing yards and 27 touchdowns with only four interceptions, is having a magical type of season quarterbacks usually have on teams pushing for championships, not on the outside looking in at the playoffs.
Despite being 4-7 heading into their bye, the Bengals are still in the hunt for a playoff berth if they can return and put together a winning streak in their final six games that will start against AFC North rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are finding ways to win games and stand with an 8-2 mark so far.
