We talk with Kathy Giori about the state of connected tech and data, and the possibilities and use cases. Kathy has worked on IOT, connected devices and software with a hardware component and talks about her experience with the Mozilla smart home platform and interoperable standards to build connected home setups that are really yours. As she says, she can experience all the value of the connected home "and I don't have to share the data behind my connected (smart home)". We also talk about where this data is, what applications and use cases exist and the balance between convenience and value.
