“Downhill ski racing sure is fun. It’s like being your own race car, but there’s no frame around you to save you. It’s just aerodynamics, skis, a skin-tight suit – zip it up, pull up your tidy whities, and go for it.”
– Tommy Moe

“The great thing about skiing that I enjoy is that you control everything happening. It’s like you can turn your brain off and start making turns down the mountain; you just don’t think it’s all reaction. I’m 51 years old, and I still feel like a little kid on the slopes.”
