Netflix (NFLX) shares are trading near 52-week lows. Earlier this year, the streaming giant walked away from acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) with Paramount Skydance's (PSKY) buying the company instead. Wedbush's Alicia Reese says it could be a good thing as it shows Netflix isn't willing to overspend in expanding content capabilities. She adds that Netflix "is the anchor" for streaming that drives engagement on other platforms like Roku Inc. (ROKU), which was recently acquired by Fox Corp. (FOXA).
