You may have already heard on an amaaaazing podcast (ahem) that the word ‘religion’ means to reconnect with God or be in relationship with Him. On this episode, we take things further by discussing the purpose of religion, why we need it, all that good stuff. At least that was the plan. But then the bit about God having to leave man (Gn 6:3) and Satan ruling the world for now (1 Jn 5:19) came up which then led to talk about spiritual warfare, how Adam and Eve were not supposed to die, the suffering we see in the world, the salvation plan, heaven coming down, wow how'd we get here guys? It all felt like a big detour at the time but actually...aren't those all the reasons why we even have religion in the first place?! So maybe the detour was in the shape of a full circle. Yay us! 😂
