Some of us tolerate, and therefore attract, narcissists unfortunately. It tends to be the empaths among us, those of us who pride ourselves on our compassion and understanding, who sometimes have trouble knowing where to hold the boundaries with energetic and emotional bullies. I’ve learned that there is a rhythm and rhyme to this. We don’t have to be shocked or taken out by it. And yes, I am speaking from experience. My teachers really had to guide me through these lessons until I finally got it.
