Violent Resistance Movements

The U. S. Civil Rights Movement, anti-apartheid protests, fight for Indian independence, and women's suffrage campaigns are all generally characterized by the nonviolent change they enacted. But if we look a little deeper, we can find bloody battle scars that have been buried beneath the rest of the history.
