Mike and Ian are honored to welcome special guest Noah Averbach-Katz as he drops in on comms to chat all things Star Trek.
Noah talks about his time as the Andorian Ryn on the set of Discovery, hanging out with the cast and crew, auditioning for Spock, and being the “bridge” between the show and fans. We reflect on the 90s/00’s before cosplay was a known thing, and there was only “dressing up for a Star Trek Convention,” and pulling back the curtain. We discuss the showrunner turnover from previous seasons leading into season four, bringing back Levar Burton to modern Trek TV, and why Star Trek doesn’t really need to be a morality play anymore.
