Imani was drafted by Sky Blue FC out of Duke University during the 2018 NWSL College Draft. During her 2018 rookie season, Dorsey was named the NWSL Rookie of the Year scoring four goals and recording one assist.
She has been a member of the US U-23 National Team and received her first call-up to the USWNT on October 31, 2019.
She helped initiate the partnership between Sky Blue and the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice in which she co-hosted the webinar with them in October titled "Chaos or Community: Where Do We Go From Here?”
