In this episode, we take a look at chapters thirty-eight through forty-one of God Emperor of Dune, in which Moneo is utterly unsuccessful in his attempts to dissuade Duncan and Hwi from their ill-advised romance, the majordomo escapes death-by-Worm for the second time in just a few days, Siona's testing begins out in the sands of the Sareer, and a frustrated Duncan unloads on Moneo - who, officially having had enough of Duncan's backwards opinions and aggressive demeanor, both physically and psychologically routs the ghola with surprisingly minimal effort.
