As a coach and expert, there’s going to be a ton of “lessons learned” along the way. The sooner you can recognize them the better. But oftentimes there are bigger picture lessons that require a bigger lens to really understand them. That’s why at the end of each year, my business partner (who happens to be my wife) and I always take time to reflect on the past year. We look back at what worked and what didn’t work.
