On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are saying “screw you!” to a bunch of English vampires. We watched the 2022 film from Jessica M. Thompson, The Invitation.

We think many of us dream of getting a free trip to the English countryside to stay in a massive castle. Just the novelty alone would be incredible.

There’s a lesson to be learned from this movie, though. If a smooth-talking Englishman claims to be a distant relative, then we should all go running in the opposite direction. The cool digs are not worth being turned into an undead, blood-sucking monster.
