Norma Buster is the Chief of Staff at C.A. Goldberg Law, a victim's rights frim based in the United States that is leading the charge against image based sexual abuse and tech-facilitated harrasment. In our conversation today we talk about the wide spread problem of tech-facilitated abuse like sextortion, revenge porn and now also deep fake porn. Why do so many perpatrators still get away with this kind of abuse, what can be done against it and what are some of the important battles that are already being won by legislators and law firms like C.A. Goldberg Law?

On a personal note, Norma knows what it’s like to come to a law firm for the first time in crisis; her journey with C.A. Goldberg, PLLC started when she was a client. After college, where she studied Advertising and Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Norma became the target of stalking and revenge porn at the hands of her ex. She struggled to get help until finding C.A. Goldberg, PLLC, when her attorney helped her secure a lifetime restraining order and criminal charges against her ex for nonconsensual pornography. It was the most traumatic experience of her life, but it inspired Norma to join the fight to end injustices like the ones she faced, and empower others to demand justice for themselves. In her time at the firm she has listened to and processed over 2.000 stories of victims and helped guide them through the first steps of the legal process.
