Garry Tan is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, who also happens to be Alexis’ co-founder at Initialized Capital. Ranked #21 on Forbes’ Midas List of top global venture capitalists, Garry, alongside Alexis, manages a team of eight investing partners with over $500M in assets under management. He previously co-founded Posterous, which was acquired by Twitter, served as one of the founding members of the engineering team for Palantir’s quant finance analysis platform, and served as a partner at Y Combinator, where he invested in and directly worked with more than 700 companies over the course of five years.
