سامیزدات در لغت یعنی خودانتشاری. اولین بار یه شاعر روسی برای انتشار آثارش که بصورت مخفیانه و زیرزمینی چاپ و بین مردم پخش می شد، از این کلمه استفاده کرد. سامیزدات ها برای سالها در سراسر قلمرو شوروی و متحدانش وجود داشتن و حقایقی رو مطرح میکردن که بصورت رسمی اجازه انتشار نداشت. قصه این اپیزود قصه سامیزدات هاست. داستان دور و درازی از جدال حقیقت با دروغ.
