The Chicago White Sox managed to hang tough and salvage a win against the Minnesota Twins in extra innings

It was not easy and there were several tense moments but the Chicago White Sox finally found a way to beat the Minnesota Twins this year and take one of three against them in this past series. The Sox beat the Twins in extra innings on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 9-8. Both teams flexed the power, going back and forth with multiple lead changes throughout the game. The White Sox welcomed back Eloy Jimenez and he did not disappoint. He hit a big homerun and had 3 RBIs on the day. Luis Robert and Andrew Vaughn also hit homeruns. Lance Lynn only went five innings and gave up five runs. He did not has his best stuff and the Twins took advantage. The Sox were able to get scoreless innings out relief pitchers Liam Hendriks and Jose Ruiz, then Leury Garcia had the walk off hit in the bottom of the 10th inning for the White Sox. The Sox start a four game series with the Detroit Tigers on Thursday. Dylan Cease gets the starts for the White Sox.
