What does it take to create an iconic Australian brand? Well, this week we chat to Louise Olsen, artist, designer and co-founder of Dinosaur Designs, and she lets us in on the path it took for her to get there. Here's a hint, it has a lot to do with time, patience and putting yourself out there creatively. This week's chat was one where we were furiously taking notes, Louise gives incredible, insightful advice when it comes to navigating the design landscape. We talk about the early days of Dinosaur Designs, back when she and her partner Stephen Ormandy were selling their wares at Paddington Markets. There were a few bumps in the road, but with a bit of course correction, well, we know how that story ends! Dinosaur Designs has become one of the country's most beloved brands, with it's pieces instantly recognisable, and with stores all over the world, it's no wonder they're still so coveted after all these years.
