SERMON NOTES: - Matthew 16:13-18 (NIV) 1. Jesus died FOR you. Rom. 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 2. Jesus died AS you. 2 Cor. 5:21 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 3. Jesus lives IN you. Gal. 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
