Today’s guest is Jasmine Douglas, the founder of entrepreneurs club Babes on Waves.Jasmine grew up in an entrepreneurial family that travelled the world, an experience that led her to constantly adapt and change who she was to fast fit in with those around her. This instability and cycle of toxic relationships caused Jazz to suffer from low confidence and self-esteem, which led to a radical self-development and healing practice which she now shares through the Babes on Waves platform. In this episode, Jazz tells us how to cultivate inner confidence through practice, taking consistent and manageable action outside of our comfort zones. When we ask ourselves the question “what can I do tomorrow to make my life 1% better?” and are accountable for those actions, we can make big changes in our lives that are both sustainable and fulfilling. We also discuss the challenges of running a community, why everyone likes boundaries (even your customers!) and that fast growth isn’t the be-all and end-all of your business. And when things don’t go according to plan, Jazz tells us to “ask yourself: where is the lesson in this and what can I learn?”This conversation was recorded on 5th August 2020.
