Join us on our newly re-branded Brain Regen Podcast for Episode 198 where I talk with Larry Yatch about the the role of trauma as the cause of neurodegeneration.
Trauma is not just about experiencing a major traumatic event, but can also come from smaller experiences where our sense of control or safety was threatened, even as a child.
Trauma leads to subconscious "untruths" or patterns of thinking and behavior that we use to try to stay safe, even when those patterns no longer serve us. This can happen even in highly successful people.
Signs of unresolved trauma include feeling like you're not quite where you should be, a lack of fulfillment despite accomplishments, and a sense of disconnection or isolation.
It is better to Focus on identifying and reprogramming the subconscious trauma-based patterns and behaviors, rather than just addressing the emotional charge of the traumatic experience itself.
Resolving trauma can lead to greater alignment between our conscious and subconscious minds, allowing us to perform better and feel more fulfillment and connection.
No matter how bad things may seem, we are never truly disconnected from the source/God/the universe, and have the power to choose to change our patterns and experience more love and connection.
