Episode 327 | "Wolverine Previews, Nick was right, and Jesse's Birthday"

It’s a show, it’s a podcast, it’s a conversation and it’s all about video games! This week, we’re talking about all the Marvel’s Wolverine previews, Nintendo’s Zelda Switch 2 and celebrating Jesse’s birthday. All this and more on the DayOne Show Episode 327!

As always, we kick off the show with a conversation about what we’ve been playing, as well as the many reviews that are live on the site, including PS2-Era platformer ‘Duskfade‘ with you can go check out if it’s your jam! Nick’s been playing lots of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and a fair bit of Pro Jank Footy, which he wishes was a bit better than it is.

Jon and Jesse however, have been playing a ton of stuff that neither of us can actually talk about, but hey, you can look forward to plenty of new reviews and previews in the near future, right?

On the news front, it’s been a quieter week. Halo Campaign Evolved is getting a patch that fixes some issues from launch, Gears of War: E-Day’s beta continues, and Xbox revealed some new fancy controllers for fans.
Marvel’s Wolverine previews are out in the wild, and while we all think the game looks pretty good, there’s a weird narrative forming online – the internet’s gonna internet I guess! Elsewhere, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma teased some minor details on the new Elder Scrolls, and announced that the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta will feature a single player campaign level. A new Kingdom Hearts IV trailer was revealed, Netflix closed two studios, and a limited edition ‘The Legend of Zelda’ Switch 2 and Pro Controller were leaked, via packaging materials of all things.
