Having foiled a lunatic bad guy in an LA high rise, officer Jack Travern is once again face to face with bomb nut Howard Payne. But this time there’s a bomb on a bus, if it goes below 50 mph, it goes up in flames, and Jack is the only one who can save the day.
Cinematographer turned first time director Jan De Bont brought his A-game to Speed. A white-knuckle workout in the mould of Die Hard with a simple concept and a great cast, which sped all the way to the top of the box office.
All the right movies are staying above 50, held hostage at the whim of a madman.
