Not that you won’t make mistakes now and again, but something I say often inside my programs is that your truth is your truth.  Your experience is your experience and nobody can take that away from you.

Other people’s ways of doing things don’t have to be the right way for you.  I’ve struggled with this in terms of my emotions and feelings and also with what I know to be true.  I hope that by sharing this today you can gain some clarity.

About a year ago I had a tense emotional family situation going on and I had to learn how to face my emotions.  I couldn’t numb them, and it wasn’t wrong to have them.  I was right to feel how I was feeling, because my emotions were valid.  It doesn’t matter if someone else makes you think you’re wrong to have those emotions.  You feel what you feel and that’s that.

The second part of this is that really, deep down you know what you want.  Before you got buried under stories and experiences, you always knew what you ultimately wanted out of life. It’s okay to hold onto what you know is true!  You don’t need validation or proof to stick to your truth. Sometimes, it really can be that simple.

I’d love to hear from you.  Like really, you!  You can text me at 848-257-5301 to say hi, let me know what you’d like to hear, and get a great conversation going.  You can tag me on Instagram @saradann_ about what your biggest takeaway from this episode was, or you can visit my website at sara-dann.com.
