This week we’re joined Erin Treloar, founder of Raw Beauty Co. and the host of the Raw Beauty Talks podcast! After spending three months in a hospital for severe anorexia in her teens, Erin found an inspiring dedication to self improvement and self love. This passion led her down the path of becoming a health coach and launching Raw Beauty Co, a community and brand committed to helping women reject the false narrative of perfection as they cultivate self love.
In this episode we dive deep into the practice of self love and self improvement. As we explore the challenges and hang ups that invariably arise, Erin gives excellent insight into how she maintains her growth practice, picks herself up when she falls, and how she is able to rise above her fears as she embarks on challenging next steps.
Erin calls the little voice of fear in the back of her head ‘Becky: Her Fearful Friend”. It is a voice that we all struggle with from time to time. Here are some helpful tips to keep that voice in check in the moments when your courage matters most.

Keep her away from the steering wheel and put her in the backseat as you drive your life. Talk with her. Listen to what she has to say. Then, remind her that while you respect her opinion, you’re in charge. Only you are allowed to drive the decisions in your life.
Show her love! She is not an enemy. She is your fear. Remind her of the strength that you possess and all of the growth you have achieved. Remind her of the community and support that surrounds you. Then, take the leap.
