Danny Tenaglia is one of the most well respected DJs in the scene and, with his huge musical knowledge and passion for his craft, is often cited as the DJ's DJ. Growing up in Brooklyn New York, Danny was musically inspired by tapes of local DJs as well as his visits to The Loft and the Paradise Garage. After buying some equipment and playing at many local venues, Danny moved to Miami in 1985 and it's here he introduced a new sound called house music to his enraptured audience. Then perfectly placed to star at Miami's new Winter Music Conference event, Danny would play epically long sets that got him noticed amongst the industry and, after moving back to New York, he would go on to regularly play alongside Sasha & Digweed at his legendary residency at Twilo as well as create his own iconic night called "Be Yourself" at Vinyl. In our chat we cover all of this and also find out the production secrets behind his biggest successes as well as get his thoughts on his own future as a DJ in the scene.
