Now on to today’s topic – Why do I have Pain?

When your muscles are not getting enough energy you might believe that they would go loose and limp but this is not true! I want you to think about the writer’s cramps when your muscles stop getting enough energy. What happens to your muscles is that they get tight as a board and it hurts. There are multiple little painful notes called trigger points that are in the belly of the muscles where they have bunched up.

What happens is that you feel pain from those notes and your muscles will start shifting your weight to take the strain off the uncomfortable areas. The bad thing about this is that it puts the strain on other areas of your body and then the pain starts moving around your body.   Also with fibromyalgia, you are most likely not getting that deep restful sleep that you need which in turn you do not heal from the activities of the day which in turn contributes to pain. A good indicator that you are not getting enough deep sleep is a morning “hangover “ feeling.  A critical part of making your pain go away will be correcting your sleep deficiency. I talk about sleep in Episode 5 - Insominia it worsens the symptoms of fibromyalgia -http://bit.ly/2ShNe0v
