And what better way to celebrate Life Day than with a new Non-Bluth episode talking about Nelvana, the studio responsible for underground Sci-Fi animation such as A Cosmic Christmas, Romie-0 and Julie-8, Rock & Rule, Intergalactic Thanksgiving, Star Wars: Droids, Star Wars: Ewoks, and yes, even the animated segment from The Star Wars Holiday Special. Joining us is special guest Avery, who, having a unique history with the studio, kindly shares his experiences of visiting Nelvana in its earlier days. We also talk at length about the various shows that Avery and ourselves grew up with from this extremely unique Canadian production house that rarely gets the recognition it deserves in the history of animation.
