Praised for her velvet timbre, soprano Sofia Livotovis a versatile artist, equally at ease in opera, art-song, and contemporary music. Based in London, Sofia has performed at international venues and festivals, such as Tête à Tête Festival (UK), Tonhalle Zurich (Switzerland) and TivoliVredenburg (Netherlands). In 2019 she has made her successful appearance on the Indonesian concert stage in Jakarta. Together with pianist Prajna Indrawati Sofia has been recently selected for the prestigious Oxford Lieder Residential Mastercourse for Singers & Pianists and awarded the Help Musicians’ Transmission Fund 2020. Passionate about performing the lesser-known repertoire, Sofia founded the ensemble Duo Primevère with pianist Natalia Pegarkova-Barenboim, which focuses on overlooked female composers.
