The first day of August is a very important day in Polish history. This is the day when the Warsaw Uprising started. Fed up with the German occupation and not willing to fall under the communistic dictatorship of Stalin, people of the Polish capital city started their fight for freedom. Despite the low chances of success and nearly certain death, they show us today, that there are values worth dying for.
