For more than 25 years Shel has honed her craft as one of Australia’s most loved journalists both in news and entertainment, and today she is also a wild and free woman and entrepreneur. Shelly and her husband Darren co-founded Shell Shocked Media around five years ago. Like so many of us she has found freedom in the purpose and creativity found in running her own business.

This included looking at the social expectations placed on women with a focus on her conscious decision to be child free, the importance of diverse and inclusive representation in the media including whether the media should be leading the way with regards to social expression.
