On this episode I'm joined by friend and colleague Elienne Anoriscat, a practicing attorney and scholar of biblical theology. We get into her personal journey through the law and her faith and break down the tangled relationship between Evangelical Christians and an increasingly far-right party that stands for everything that Jesus would not. We also discuss ways to communicate with Americans who can't seem to disentangle their religious and partisan identities from one another and the difficult interpersonal work that will need to be done to help many voters in this country open their minds and see how their faith has been used as a tool to manipulate and deceive them.
